While employed by IBM for 30 years, Linda spent her free time indulging her life-long love of creating. From decorating houses to gardening, she has always nurtured her soul through expressive outlets. She has spent many years refining her skills in designing and making jewelry and pottery, and has become very passionate about these endeavors. Now that Linda has retired from IBM, she is devoting her time, energy and passion to creating unique pieces of wearable art, copper wall art and pottery. Linda strives to bring individuality to each piece of jewelry as well as each piece of pottery and wall art that she designs. For her jewelry, she utilizes the highest quality of natural stones, gems and blown glass. Her extraordinary, one-of-a-kind jewelry inspirations provide exclusive and exciting fashion accessories. She takes every opportunity to explore new concepts and ideas to create special jewelry creations that are cherished by the wearers and appreciated by the viewers. Her pottery is also one-of-a-kind contemporary creations that primarily utilize the raku firing technique which provides brilliant iridescent colors. In 2010, Linda was awarded Best in Show for Jewelry and Best in Show for Pottery for the Dallas area Corporate Art Competition. Linda’s works have been exhibited in several juried art shows including the Denton Art and Jazz Festival, the Texas Visual Arts Association Gallery at Plaza of the Americas, the Lewisville Visual Arts League member exhibit, and Oxide Gallery 2011 Show.
