Always a student, I value a collaborative atmosphere where all ideas are honored.
As an exhibiting artist, my work has been included in exhibitions in New York City, Berlin Germany, New Orleans, LA, and Annapolis, Maryland as well as regionally.
As a teacher, I am most satisfied when I see students in the process of self discovery. I have conducted workshops with non-profits Big Thought, The StewPot of Dallas, The Arts Council North East of Tarrant County, the Irving Arts Center and the Nasher Sculpture Center. I have taught art in K - 12th grade in the Garland, McKinney, and Rockwall Independent School Districts.
As part of the Creative Services Dept at Micrografx, Inc., I was responsible for creating illustrations to showcase the capabilities of the graphics software suite. I have been variously employed as a courtroom sketch artist, medical illustrator, crime scene illustrator, children's book illustrator as well as other contract positions.
