ANITA KIM ROBBINS (See #16 on Map)
Anita has been interested in art since childhood. She has a solid background of daydreaming and doodling. Her formal art education is from Brigham Young University and Utah Valley State College. Besides fabulous instructors at the institutes she has also worked under the tutelage of many great other artists including Willie Wong, Tony Couch, and Marilyn Kinsella.
Anita has done book cover illustrations for Covenant Communications Publishing. Anita teaches watercolor techniques and art principles as well as many other art media in Flower Mound, Texas and as a guest instructor throughout the United States but has been a regular in Provo and Springville, Utah.
Anita has been a member of the Intermountain Society of Artists, Utah Watercolor Society, and Vice-president of the Utah Valley Artist Guild.
Anita has been recognized with various awards:
· Acceptance into the 2002 Spring Salon, 241 works accepted out of 942, 'Evolution'
· First Place in the Intermountain Autumn Show , 'Leaf with droplets'
· Excellent for the Utah County Fall Show 'Peonies -n- Pears'
· Acceptance into the Religious and Spirituality Exhibit at the Springville Museum of Art, 'Adversity Forms Magnifecence'
Robbins original art is displayed at these fine art galleries across the United States and is in private collections around the world.
