Art has the ability to transform the one who creates it as well as the viewer who experiences it. It can gladden the heart and nourish the soul. I have always found delight in color and shape, the play of shadow and light and in the rhythm and patterns that abound in nature.
In my art, I try to capture the exquisite details that often go unnoticed as we rush through our busy days. I invite my viewers to take a moment to breathe, take a closer look, and reflect on the beauty that surrounds us.
I work primarily in colored pencil, watercolor and graphite. I am a signature member of the Colored Pencil Society of America, the CPSA Dallas/Ft.Worth Chapter 224, the Visual Arts League of Lewisville and the Cross Timbers Artists Guild. My work has been included in numerous regional and international exhibits and can be seen locally at the Holder Dane Gallery in Grapevine, TX
