Andrea Ward

Graphite, Pastels, Ink, Acrylic

Artwork by Artist Andrea Froehlich Ward reflects the beauty she sees in the natural world. Her realistic landscapes, skyscapes, and florals are created in oil, acrylic, and watercolor. Many of her subjects she photographed while traveling throughout the United States. Now living in Texas, the beauty of its hills, wildflowers, lakes, and everchanging skies are her inspirations, too. For portraiture she uses graphite and pastels, ink for calligraphy, and her pour paintings are in acrylic. Andrea has received several artist awards, displayed her artwork in Flower Mound Town Hall, and was chosen for the town’s traffic signal box art which can be found at the corner of Garden Ridge Boulevard and Spinks Road. She enjoys photography, hiking, tennis, and floral gardening. Andrea has a BFA in studio art from Sam Houston State University.
